The Lambiel Museum
Art is the expression of surprise
Visiting the Lambiel Museum is a unique experience. Enter through two antique Egyptian doors and encounter the most extensive private collection of the finest, original artwork by the San Juan Islands' best artists from 1915 to the present.
This discerning collection—paintings, drawings, etchings, sculptures, murals, glasswork, photography, and ceramics—is exhibited in two buildings and throughout the grounds on 234 feet of waterfront property on Orcas Island, Washington. In addition, two architectural follies are under construction: a round Greek Doric Temple, built in an historically accurate ruined state; and a grotto, three underground rooms dedicated to fantasy.
The Lambiel Museum is open to the public every day for guided tours for groups of two to twelve, by appointment only. Please see the Contact page for more information.
